JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for providing technical insights and support to the Deputy Director, ASETS within ODUSD(A&T)/SSE. Duties will include providing program systems enginerering, developmental test, and acquisition support to the government team lead for C2ISR programs.

Position requires relevant experience with current major C2ISR programs within the 000. Application of the principals of sound Systems Engineering, Test and Evaluation planning and execution, and DoD acquisition processes is required. Duties involve
conducting analysis and evaluation on C2ISR systems development and test to include: integration; technical maturity, Command and Control; Ground Stations; Air Worthiness Certifications, Information Distribution; and System Assurance. Candidate will conduct research and alternatives analysis, prepare draft reports and develop positions papers and presentation material to advise SSE and the DAE in preparation for acquisition decisions

Requires the ability to interact with Service programs and headquarters, industry, and the acquisition and operational communities. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The incumbant will be involved in the formulation of the test and evaluation, and systems engineering planning which is captured in Test and Evaluation Master Plans, and Systems Engineering Plans, respectively.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Bachelors Degree in related subject matter; Masters Degree preferred
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of Department of Defense (DoD) experience in C2ISR programs, acquisition, engineering and/or program management experience (military or civilian, 0-5/0-6 or equivalent civilian rank, government or private industry)
Level II DAWIA Certification in one or more Acquisition functional disciplines desirable -e.g. Test and Evaluation, Program Management, Information Technology, Systems Engineering.
