Foxhole Technology Awarded Prime Contract on Navy Seaport e
Fairfax, VA, June 2, 2008 – Foxhole Technology announced today it has been awarded a Seaport-e prime contract from the Department of the Navy. Foxhole Technology, a Small Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), was founded by U.S. Army veteran, Wes Hester, to provide government and commercial organizations with strategic-level technologies to meet their mission goals and objectives. Foxhole provides insight into many critical areas of advanced technology including: Information Technology (IT) Governance; Program Management; Federal Acquisition Framework (5000 series) / Acquisition Certifications; Agile Life-Cycle Management; NETOPS (Network Operations);and Net-Enabled Training & Mentoring. Foxhole, an IBM Premier Partner, is also a Value Added Reseller of IBM products and services, and is teaming with a variety of industry partners such as ManTech, SRA, SAIC and Bearing Point to help federal agencies implement technologies such as SOA and Open Source to achieve the greatest long-term benefit for their agency.
SeaPort-e has made electronic procurement of Engineering, Financial, and Program Management support services a reality. Using SeaPort-e, the Navy Virtual SYSCOM (VS) Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR) have provided an integrated approach to contracting for support services. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized means of issuing competitive solicitations amongst a large & diverse community of approved contractors, as well as a platform for awarding & managing performance-based task orders. This unified approach allows SeaPort-e service procurement teams to leverage their best work products, practices, & approaches across the Navy's critical service business sector.
