Foxhole Technology was an exhibitor at the 2017 AFCEA Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium June 13-15 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland. Foxhole Technology attendeesincluded: Wes Hester, CEO; Jim Garrison, VP; Mark Crossgrove, Director of Corporate Growth; Angie Gabrielson, Account Executive; Stewart Kerr; Dee Rider, PM, CMRS; Brian Young, PM, DECC; and Joe Burke; CTO/Technical PM, CND Tools.
This year, Stewart Kerr presented a demonstration of mClinical, a mobile technology that accelerates the efficiency of clinical encounters between physicians and patients. Foxhole and mClinical are conducting a Pilot project at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) to demonstrate significant provider productivity savings – 15 percent – and substantial reduction in purchased care claims. The hard benefits associated with this innovative solution could approach $1,000,000 per year. But, more importantly, this solution lets doctors be doctors again. Our booth also showcased our newly designed exhibit board and banners, as well as newly branded marketing material.
This year, the Symposium focused on “Connect and Protect.” Topics of duscussion included requirements and solutions to ensure networks within DoD are adaptive, resilient and effective across a range of uses and against diverse threats; and how to leverage innovative technology to advance cybersecurity and build new relationships.
Speakers included leaders in the Defense Information Systems Agency, Joint Force Headquarters-DoD Information Network and DoD Chief Information Office. In addition, there were panel sessions and training tracks provided by various other agencies, industry, academia and the military services.
