The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has recognized Foxhole Technology, Inc., along with 15 other employers, who have taken the initiative to become a Best Workplace for Commuters (BWC). By implementing BWC practices, Foxhole Technology is proud to be among Fairfax County employers working to improve employee commutes, and continues to excel in creating flexible, productive workplace for employees.
Qualifying for the BWC guidelines also includes positive outcomes – such as increased productivity; enhanced recruitment and retention efforts; reduced environmental impacts; and a better quality of life.
Best Workplaces for Commuters is a membership program that provides qualified employers with national recognition and an elite designation for offering outstanding commuter benefits. Employers that meet the National Standard of Excellence in commuter benefits—a standard created by the National Center for Transit Research (NCTR) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)—can get on the list and receive high level programs and services. The Best Workplaces for Commuters program is managed by the National Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of South Florida.
